The acclaimed JAZZ ALLEY TV series will premier on Hawai’i’s KIKU TV Saturday, July 18, 2009, at 6pm.

Jazz Alley TV is the longest running Jazz, Blues, World and Hawaiian Music TV series on the planet. In its 19-year existence, the show has traveled to over 40 countries covering music festivals, concerts, cruises and adventures with some of the world’s finest musicians, including BB KING, Herbie Hancock, Bono, STING, Santana, Wynton Marsalis, Pat Metheny, Herb Alpert and Lionel Hampton. Also fine Hawaii artists such as Keola Beamer and Brother Noland, and international artists such as Keiko Matsui and Ziggy Marley, as well as hundreds more!

Jazz Alley TV’s debut on KIKU-TV marks the first time the show will have a regular, weekly time slot on local TV. “This is an exciting time for Jazz Alley TV” said Jazz Alley TV creator, host and director Ken Martinez Burgmaier. “We look forward to bringing our world class music entertainment to our home-based audience, especially on KIKU TV, with its long history in our islands.”

Jazz Alley TV will debut on KIKU-TV on July 18th with the EMMY nominated Jazz Alley TV show featuring the 33rd Annual Ukulele festival from Oahu with Ledward Kaapana, Frank DeLima, Raiatea Helm, Hapa, Roy Sakuma, and many other Hawai’i favorites. Other shows for July will feature the Maui Slack Key festival with Brother Noland, George Kahumoku, HAPA, Don Kaulia, Kevin Brown and others; the Keiko Matsui Journey through Morocco and the MauiFEST Hawai’i Hana Film Festival with 3 time Grammy winner saxophonist Tom Scott and Keola Beamer.

Jazz Alley TV is aired in 80 countries and in 25 languages.
